• Urge Passage of N.J. State Bill to Divest from Iran – The N.J. Senate Budget Committee is scheduled on 12/3/07 to consider legislation to prohibit investment by the State of pension and annuity funds in foreign companies doing business in Iran.
• 
  Send an advocacy letter to State Senate President Richard Codey
   
• Call for a Floor Vote on the Darfur Accountability & Divestment Act – Ask our U.S. Senators to ensure that the Darfur Accountability & Divestment Act (SADA) is sent to the Senate floor for a vote. Recently opposed by the Justice Department, SADA allows states to divest from targeted companies and bans federal and state contracts from doing business in Sudan.

• Support the Holocaust Insurance Accountability Act of 2007 – The legislation requires insurance companies doing business in the United States to publicly disclose all Holocaust-era insurance policies, recognizing that less than 3% of the number and value of insurance policies owned by Jews at the beginning of World War II have been satisfied through the International Commission on Holocaust Era Insurance Claims (“ICHEIC”) process, which ended last spring.
