March 20: Security and Human Outcomes of the “Disengagement” from Gaza
A full-day schedule to learn about the aftermath of this past summer’s Gaza Disengagement, including high level security briefings, visit to an IDF base, meeting with evacuated families, visiting our partners and friends in Kibbutz Erez and learning how Israel prepared for the disengagement and is currently dealing with the outcome.
March 21-25: Religious Pluralism visits and Shabbaton
Every year, members of the Religious Pluralism Subcommittee, as well as interested members of our community, go to Israel to participate in site visits, meet with our partners and learn more about how Israelis are coping with their Jewish identity. Itinerary includes an opportunity to observe and evaluate religious pluralism programs (Reform, Conservative, Orthodox, and independent) that we fund in Israel.
